The film page is the unit of navigation. Cast, crew, production, runtime, country, language, school, meta-genre, theme, mood, awards, external rankings, plus the lists that contain it and the reviews and grades from the community — all on one page, designed to read.
Multilingual titles, first-class
Titles in many languages aren't translations of an "official" one. A film keeps its native title and its known foreign-release titles side by side; your display picks one based on your reading preference.
Layered tabs
Cast, Crew, and Production live behind tabs — same fold position, no JavaScript needed (CSS-only radio tabs). The page stays still; the right panel changes.
Your private layer
Above the fold for logged-in users: your watched state, your 16-tier letter+star grade, your watch_logs entries, and the in-line "Add to list" picker. Public never sees your grade.
