Lists
Lists in Film Archive carry the same vocabulary as films do: school, meta-genre, theme, mood, decades. A "Loneliness" list isn't a tag bag — it's a first-class navigation surface, indexed under the Theme axis alongside other thematic lists.
Three rendering modes
Every list renders as Rows (poster + meta), Grid (just posters), or Table (a CSV-style data grid). Switch with one click. Filter rails on the side narrow the list by year, country, school, or watched state without rebuilding the list.
Official + community
Official lists are curated by the site (the canonical "Block-busters", "Houses of cinema", etc.). Community lists come from anyone with an account. Either can be saved or liked; saved lists become navigation shortcuts.
Face films
Each list shows three "face films" — the posters that represent it on the directory grid. Owners pick them; defaults fall back to the highest-rated three.
